Overview
KALFLEX-19 is a monomeric plasticizer with a high power of solvation. It is soluble in most organic solvents, oils and resins. KALFLEX-19 is mainly used as external plasticizer of polyvinyl acetate in inks and adhesives. In addition, it is used in plastisols to increase the viscosity of the paste due to its soluble feature. Combined with suspension resins very soft compounds can be obtained. But the aging of the end products is bad due to its low stability and high volatility.
